Usage Client

Usage Client lets you monitor standalone application usage in the same manner as for floating license applications. For companies that have hundreds of users with standalone licenses, learning about how those licenses are used -- or not used -- can have a significant impact on ROI.

On the client machines, the startup process for monitored applications is rerouted to the Usage Client, which will then start up the application. Usage Client integrates easily with most applications, allowing you to monitor standalone licenses along with floating licenses.

License Saver

Improves the efficiency and flexibility of license usage by automatically returning idle licenses to the pool.

When a user is away from his or her machine or leaves a watched application idle for a specified time, License Saver suspends the watched application(s), thereby freeing idle licenses so they can be checked out by other users.

When the user returns to the machine, the application resumes (if a license is available at that time). For example, if a user leaves for lunch and forgets to close an application that is being watched by License Saver, that application license will be suspended on the machine where it is idle and freed up for another user. Or, if the user isn't actively using a watched application but has left it open while working with other applications, the idle application will be suspended after a specified length of time.

Users can also manually stop watching applications (enable/disable License Saver), as well as suspend/resume all or individual applications being watched.
