License Statistics version 7.1 introduces new capabilities for uploading metadata for Autodesk license servers and specifying custom encoding of external data, adds support for a new license manager, and includes many enhancements and fixes. Read on to find out what’s new in License Statistics v7.1.
With this new support, we’re able to restore some cloud monitoring capabilities, which were discontinued when Autodesk made access to its cloud data more restrictive (see Autodesk usage monitoring for information on Autodesk cloud monitoring limitations). After uploading the metadata, it will be included with all future usage data reported by License Statistics Agents. Any supported source (remote or end-user) will use the metadata to improve the quality of information gathered from that server, including details about current reservations and features and the number of licenses. The Metadata tab is also available for EPLAN LM license managers as an improved method for uploading EPLAN bundles.
